    Following on from the development of the Food Safety Auditor Professional Development (FSAPD) Framework document, this is a call for participation in a working group (WG) to focus on the governance phase of Auditor Training & Professional Development, based on that FSAPD Framework (Phase I). The intention for this WG is to develop a proposed structure within which different stakeholders will engage to provide for a streamlined path to food safety auditor professional development. The application process for the Phase 2 Working Group is now open and will close on February 16, 2025 Midnight CET

  • Applications are invited from suitable candidates across the food safety audit and food industry ecosystem, using the form below. Based on the information supplied, a selection panel will select candidates who are representative of the food industry ecosystem as detailed below:

    • Auditors/Auditor associations
    • Certification Bodies (CBs)
    • Certification Program Owners (CPOs)
    • Potential Professional Recognition Bodies (PRBs), including ‘institutes’
    • Public Authorities responsible for Food Standards (including Regulators)
    • Academics (educators)
    • FBOs across the chain (primary production, manufacturers, retailers and food service)
    • Others

    Sub-groups may be convened as necessary for and by different stakeholders represented on the WG. Chairs and co-chairs will be drawn from the applicant pool.
