We are happy to request tickets for your family through our fantastic partner, Tickets for Kids (TFK)! The mission of Tickets for Kids is "to provide equitable access for our most vulnerable youth to experiences that inspire hope, dreams, and achievements for a lifetime." For general information about the Tickets for Kids organization, check out ticketsforkids.org.
Thanks to our partnership with TFK, Foster the Family is able to offer tickets to foster, adoptive, and kinship children and their families. TFK tickets are meant to be used by kids and families who might not otherwise get to attend shows and events. Tickets offered can range from sporting events, museums, art exhibits, historical locations, and many other experiences.
Please take some time to answer these questions and we will get back to you with approval/denial notice once we hear back from Tickets for Kids. Please note that we are not the only organization who partners with TFK. Some tickets are very popular and go quickly, so we cannot guarantee any request. Please put your ticket request in at least a week in advance of the event date.
If you are approved, please make every effort to use the tickets given to you. While we understand things come up, unused tickets reflect poorly on our organization. If too many of the requested tickets go unused, our organization will not be approved for as many tickets in the future. Please do not request tickets if you are not sure you will use them. Please let us know right away if you will be unable to use the tickets so we can find another family who can.
After using the tickets, we ask that you email dawn.corona@fosterthefamily.org within 48 hours to confirm use of the tickets as well as information to include in a report back to Tickets for Kids. This can be a photo, a quote/story/memory from the kids, or a thank you note.
Tickets for Kids has given us many wonderful opportunities, that many of our families would not be able to experience without the donation. Please help us to maintain this awesome opportunity for all of our foster, kinship, and adoptive families. Email dawn.corona@fosterthefamily.org if you have any questions.
