MISS WINTER Wonderland PAGEANT

Calhoun County Wood Festival and the WV Molasses Festival will sponsor the Miss Winter Wonderland Pageants. We are excited to announce the 2026 Miss Winter Wonderland Pageant will be held on Sunday, November 22nd at the Calhoun Middle High School Auditorium at 2:00pm. This is a fund raiser pageant for the Calhoun County Wood Festival and the WV Molasses Festival Pageants and is open to girls ages 0-12 years. This is a fun, hobby pageant, and winners will not be required to sign a contract. This will be great practice for the upcoming fairs and festivals pageant season and open to all. Registration will be from 12:30-1:30pm with the pageant beginning promptly at 2:00pm. We will not be sending out welcome letters so please read carefully as all the information you need is listed below.
The entry fee is $35 per child, which includes optionals: Best Dressed, Prettiest Eyes, Prettiest Hair and Prettiest Smile. Deadline to enter is November 15, 2026. No late entries will be accepted, so please get those entries in early. Please submit entry fee via PayPal Friends and Family to Woodfestivalpageant@gmail.com

We will also have one overall Fan Favorite. Fan Favorite votes are $1 per vote and will be collected during the pageant. The winner will receive a crown and gift.

Photogenic: We will award one overall photogengic winner. Each photo entry will be $5 per picture and no limit on the number of photos you may enter. You will need to bring your printed photo with you on the day of the pageant and submit them at registration.

Admission will be $5 per person and ages 5 and under will be admitted free. All visiting royalty with a Fairs and Festivals title will be admitted free with sash.

Attire is winter wear. NO pageant dresses and no props. Age Divisions are as follows and will be based on the child's age on the day of the pageant.

Baby Miss: 0-18 months

Toddler Miss: 19 months- 35 months

Mini Miss: 3-4 years

Little Miss: 5-6 years

Junior Miss: 7-9 years

Pre-Teen: 10-12 years

All winners in each age group will receive a crown, sash and gift bag and will be invited to ride in the Calhoun Christmas Parade on Dec. 4, 2026 (participation is optional)

We must have at least 20 contestants in order to have this pageant. If for any reason we do not have enough participants, we will refund your entry fee. However there will be no refunds otherwise.

Entry Submission: You must complete the jotform entry and submit your entry fee via PayPal to be completely registered. Applications are not considered complete until both have been received.

This is a fun pageant and we will not tolerate poor sportsmanship. If a problem does arise you will be asked to leave and there will not be a refund. This is supposed to be fun for the children and we ask that you be respectful. Judges scores are final. We will not be giving out scoresheets.

Please arrive PAGEANT READY as much as possible- dressing room space will be limited. We will not be opening the doors for registration until 12:30pm. Absolutely no hair spray can be sprayed in the classroom area.

All judges' decisions are final and bad sportsmanship will not be tolerated and may result in disqualification with no refund. I acknowledge there will not be any refunds for any reason.
