Please read carefully:
- Scholarship recipients will reside in Middlesex or Monmouth County, entering 9th – 12th grade, and will be eligible to receive this scholarship one time only.
- Eligible programs are tuition-based, organized Zionist youth trips to Israel, at least 3 weeks long, that may include visits to other countries such as Eastern Europe. (Length of trip requirement does not apply to students registered for International March of the Living)
- Families raising Jewish children are eligible to apply.
- Scholarship recipients agree to ALL requirements mentioned in the "teen personal commitment for Federation grant" section below.
- A refundable deposit of $250 must be submitted upon completion of the application.
- If a scholarship is awarded, payment is made directly to the program provider.
- Recipients traveling during the summer may also apply for The Anne and Herbert Goldstein Fund for Summer Youth Travel, an additional $1,000 competitive grant (See BELOW).
- Priority will be given to applicants who have never been to Israel on an educational trip and/or lived in Israel past the age of 12.
*What is the deposit for:
- We ask you for a deposit because we want to make sure the participant is committed to "tikkun olam" (repair the world) by fulfilling the mentioned requirements.
- The deposit will be refunded after the participant fulfills all the requirements mentioned in the "teen personal commitment for Federation grant" section below.
- The deposit will also be refunded in case of trip cancellation initiated by the participant, organizer, or for any other reason.
- Pay it forward: you can choose to donate your refundable $250 deposit to help others experience Israel.
- Options on how to pay the deposit are included in the confirmation email.

Decisions will be made after the above deadlines and checks to program providers will be sent shortly after.
