Welding and Fabrication 101 & 201 Classes

Whether you’re a beginner or looking to refine your skills, these classes will show you how to build your parts right the first time—so you can proudly show them off or put them to the test on the trail.
Welding and Fabrication 101 – March 1, 2024
This introductory class covers the essentials to set you up for success in welding and fabrication:
Safety: Learn critical safety practices and setup techniques.
Equipment Selection and Prep: Understand the importance of choosing the right tools and prepping them for use.
Material Selection and Prep: Get familiar with selecting and preparing various materials.
Engineering and Design Basics: Discover the basics of design to build parts that last.
Hands-On Welding: Start welding with guided instruction to build your foundational skills.
No previous experience is required. An auto-dimming welding helmet and gloves are necessary.

Class Size: Limited to the first 15 paid entries.
Time: 9 am - 5 pm, with a 1-hour break for lunch.

Welding and Fabrication 201 – March 2, 2024
Building on what you learned in the 101 class, this advanced session dives deeper:
Weld Testing and Strength Evaluation: Test and evaluate the strength of your welds.
Advanced Joint Techniques: Explore techniques for creating stronger joints.
Mastering Cutting Torches: Learn the art of cutting torches and how to use them effectively.
TIG Basics and Demo: Cover the basics of TIG welding with a live demonstration.
Personal Equipment Setup: Students are encouraged to bring their own equipment; we’ll assist with setup to ensure everything is ready for hands-on learning.
Prerequisite: Completion of Welding and Fabrication 101.
Class Size: Limited to the first 15 paid entries.
Time: 9 am - 5 pm, with a 1-hour break for lunch.
Registration Deadline: 10 days prior to event. No refunds for cancellations made within 10 days of the class.
Weather Policy: If the class is canceled due to inclement weather, refunds will be issued.
