    CANCELLATIONS In the event of a no show or cancellation within 24 hours of a confirmed appointment, 100% of the fee will be payable. BACS payments can be made to: Valley View Ranch & Equestrian Centre Sort Code: 30-96-26 Account No: 45675860 DOGS We have numerous pets including dogs, cats, goats and chickens. Please keep dogs on leads at all times and clear up any mess immediately. RIDING HATS At the request of our insurers, protective headwear must be worn at all times when mounted, and must meet one of the following standards: British – All PAS 015, VG1 – provided they are BSI Kitemarked European – VG1 – provided they are BSI Kitemarked American – All SEI ASTM F1163 04a onwards and SNELL E2001 Australian & New Zealand – AS/NZS 3838 2003 onwards Harnesses must be correctly fastened at all times whilst mounted. Jockey skulls (i.e. without a fixed peak) must be worn on the Cross-Country. JUMPING SAFETY All jumps provided are optional, and it is the rider’s responsibility to ensure that they and their horse have the necessary skill and experience before attempting to jump. Riders should check all jumps beforehand to satisfy themselves that the jump can be completed safely. Single riders must be accompanied by either another rider or person on foot when using our show jumping or cross-country facilities. Spectators should be kept well clear of all jumps. SHOWJUMPS Please ensure that any jumps adjusted or moved are returned to the height and location they were at the start of the hire. Any breakages will be charged and must be reported at the end of the hire period. CHILDREN Please remember that riding stables can be dangerous places, therefore please ensure that children are properly supervised at all times. Tel: 01432 820081 2) All visitors should assemble at the Fire Point in the bottom lorry park, and all horses should be removed to the nearest available paddock. 3) Fire Extinguishers are provided throughout the site and should be used to tackle the fire only if safe to do so, and without taking personal risks. SMOKING This is a non-smoking site. Smoking is permitted in the bottom lorry park or camping field only. TOILETS There is a toilet in the top stable block for convenience of all staff and visitors. Additional toilets may be provided at busy times of the year. LITTER Please help us to keep our home safe and tidy by using the litter bins provided. CAR PARK Please park in the designated areas and ensure that any droppings are removed from the car park. Please do not feed haynets in the car park as wasted hay is very difficult to remove from the gravel. INAPPROPRIATE CONDUCT We aim for Valley View Ranch & Equestrian Centre to be a happy and safe environment for all. We will not tolerate any form of abuse towards any animal or person whatsoever and we reserve the right to eject or refuse entry to any individual who behaves in a way which The Management considers to be unacceptable. SAFETY & BIO-SECURITY All horses entering our premises must be fully vaccinated against equine influenza and tetanus by way of annual vaccine. Do not bring horses onto the premises if you know that they are suffering from any contagious condition/disease. We usually have a number of stallions on the premises, and/or horses aiming for top level competition. In the interests of safety, and to reduce the risk of cross infections please do not pet or feed any animal without permission from a member of staff. Thank you.
