To participate in this exhibit, artwork needs to be received at the Headwaters Arts Center by November 9, 2024, before 3:00pm. The Headwaters Arts Center, located at 66 Main St in Stamford, NY, is open Wednesday - Saturday from 10:00a-3:00p. Photos can be dropped off to the Headwaters Arts Center between 10a - 3p on the following dates: Friday, November 1, Saturday, November 2, Wednesday, November 6, Thursday, November 7, Friday, November 8, Saturday, November 9. Artwork should be delivered along with a completed Artist & Artwork Information Form (attached However, this schedule is subject to change based on programming and staff needs. The Roxbury Arts Group will attempt to let exhibiting artists know ahead of time if there will be a change in the schedule. The gallery is also open by appointment.
The Roxbury Arts Group will work to promote this exhibit with a variety of strategies. Artists can submit a list of email addresses of people they wish to be informed of this exhibition. Those email addresses must be submitted in a Microsoft Word or Excel document and should be emailed to community@roxburyartsgroup.org.
Artists have the option to place their submissions for sale during the exhibit. Artists will decide on pricing for individual photographs. If sold, Artists will receive 70% of the sale price of pieces sold. Payments will be mailed, along with information about the buyer, within 30 days of the completion of this exhibition. The Roxbury Arts Group will collect sales tax and submit necessary paperwork in that regard.
Artists are responsible for delivering their unframed work in a timely manner. Likewise, artists are expected to retrieve unsold work within 7 days with the exhibition closing. Any and all shipping expenses will be at the artist's expense. Artists who leave pieces over 7 days will incur a storage fee.
Artwork exhibited at the Headwaters Arts Center will be insured by the Roxbury Arts. This insurance extends from one week before the exhibition opening to two weeks after the closing of the exhibition. Artwork left in the gallery after this time period will be at the risk of the artist.
