SDF is committed to elevating multi-disciplinary design leaders of diverse backgrounds. The Festival encourages peer- and self-nominations from people of color, those with disabilities, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and other historically marginalized backgrounds in order to represent and celebrate the fullness of the SDF community. Time Commitment: To the best of your knowledge, can the nominee commit to a three-year board term? This requires attending SDF board meetings on the 3rd Thursday of every month (unless otherwise specified), an annual board retreat, the annual Festival Block Party and additional Festival celebrations throughout the year, as well as additional responsibilities as needed.
