Special Events Permits will not be issued until ALL supporting documents are submitted, reviewed, & given authoritative approval. Supporting documents may include:

Certificate of Insurance (Required for all Applicants)
Detailed Site Map (i.e. requested location for fencing, car entries for car show, stage placement, tent/canopy placement, etc)
Other Necessary & Applicable Permits (i.e. Mass Gathering Permit, Encroachment Permit, Burn Permit, Temporary Food Service Permit, etc.)
Certificates/Licenses (i.e Movie License, Temporary/Seasonal Business License, Special Event Sales Tax License, etc.)
Fees/Deposits
Plans (Traffic Control Plans, FAA Approved Flight Plan, Animal Health Hazards/Nuissances Plan, Parking Plan etc.)

Will the closure of Ring Road take place for the event?* This field is required.(i.e. the road that circles around Veteran's Memorial Park. Ring Road is the ONLY road that could potentially be authorized for closure during an event at Veteran's Memorial Park.) If YES, please note the following: If the closure of Ring Road is approved, an Encroachment Permit will be required. It'll be issued by the Engineering Department. The applicant may be required to pay additional fees for Encroachment Permits. They must also provide a traffic and parking plan for the Police Department, as per the Facility Use Policy. All canopies and/or tents must be weighed down using above-ground weights (cinderblocks, water barrels, etc.) Stakes are not permitted.
