Benevolence Guidelines
The focus of this ministry is to assist, provide, or render aid to members of Right Way Christian Center. Consideration will only be given to those who have experienced an unexpected severe interruption of cash flow. Aid given is a gift and is in no way to be presented or constructed as a loan by Right Way Christian Center. Applications are processed weekly and forwarded to the Benevolence Committee for approval. Finally, the assistance is based on the following information:
- You must be an active member of the church for at least three (3) months.
- Funds are distributed until we have reached the allowed distribution maximum for the month. Once this maximum is reached, you may be considered for benevolence for the following month.
- No cash or check is given to the applicant. A check will be issued to the vendor owed.
- As a Christian and a member of Right Way, you are expected to be a faithful tither. The committee will review your giving record for consideration of benevolence.
- You can only receive assistance once within a 12-month period.
- Married couples must be in agreement with applying for benevolence assistance and must both sign the request form.
- You must exemplify a righteous lifestyle refraining from any immoral behaviors and/or lifestyles that are contrary to the Word of God.
