Dear Parents, 

I am pleased to inform you that Year 5 will be going on a school trip to Kowloon Walled City Park on Thursday 21st November (Y5SM and Y5CD) and Friday 22nd November (Y5TS and Y5CG).

This trip links to both our Discovery Unit on Our Hong Kong and our English unit linked to the a book on the Kowloon Walled City of Kowloon. Children will explore the history of the Kowloon Walled City as well as sketch some of the traditional style buildings in the park. 

Classes will leave by bus shortly after registration at 8:30am, spending the morning in the Kowloon Walled City Park. They will have a packed lunch there before we return to school. The students should wear their regular school uniform, bring a snack and a packed lunch on the day. 

Volunteers

We would welcome parent volunteers to support this trip, with 3 volunteers per class. Please contact your child's class teacher via email if you are interested in volunteering.

Payment 

The park is free for students to visit, so the bus is the only expense. This is $100HKD per child, to be paid by cash, cheque or bank transfer. 

Please give permission for your child to take part in this trip using this jotform. 

All cheques to be made payable to 'Discovery Bay International School Ltd.'

Online bank transfer is also accepted provided that the transfer slip and student information are emailed to the accounts office (accounts@dbis.edu.hk) for reconciliation purposes.
