PRODUCTION TEAM APPLICATIONS

James Terry Collective is seeking a team of passionate theatre creatives to bring to life the Broadway revival of The Boys in the Band, written by Mart Crowley.

The production team will work closely with producer James Terry, and director Alister Smith. With the expectation for all roles that our team work collaboratively, and share an equal passion for the story and its key messages of pride, community, and chosen family.

We are committed to an inclusive workplace and welcome creatives of all backgrounds, sexualities, and gender identities. While we encourage creatives who identify as LGBTQI+ to apply for these roles, participation is not limited to any specific community.

This independent funded production must recoup costs within season and an equity arrangement is unviable. Successful applicants will be offered a $2,000 honorarium, in addition to 11.5% superannuation. Roles that require duties throughout the performances will be offered an additional profit share arrangement. Assistant positions are available for each role as work experience without pay.

MEDIA RELEASE:
I give full permission to James Terry Collective to use my name and image in any aspect in relation to and relevant to this production of The Boys in the Band, and the company James Terry Collective. I understand that any process of this production may be filmed and photographed, and I give my permission to use these recordings in all media including print, broadcast, radio, and social media, to promote The Boys in the Band, or the company James Terry Collective at any stage or after the production has concluded.

CONFIDENTIALITY:

I understand and agree to maintain this confidentiality agreement for anything in relation to the production of The Boys in the Band, and James Terry Collective. I agree to keep all aspects of the production confidential, including conversations in person or online, contracts or documents, audition information, show materials, or intellectual property. I agree that this includes the auditions progress, and casting decisions.

INSURANCE:

James Terry Collective offers public liability insurance, and Workcover, for activities that take place within the rehearsal space and theatre. I agree that any ilness or injury outside of these parameters is at my own risk and therefore take full responsibility for any illnesses, accidents, and injuries that may occur, and that James Terry Collective will not be held liable.
