Petition for recovery collars to be used at all CEB-US events!

Out of critical concern for the safety of our dogs while running CEB-US field trials we petition the amendment of Article IV RULES FOR LICENSED EVENTS of the Constitution of Club de l’Epagneul Breton of the United States, Inc. to mandate the use of recovery collars at all CEB-US events. This amendment would align with the guidelines established by the Field Dog Stud Book and American Field for Electronic Retrieval and Communication Devices at Recognized Field Trials, which have been approved for use in all UKC licensed pointing dog field trials since January 1, 2022. We propose this amendment to Article IV in accordance with the procedures detailed in ARTICLE XI AMENDMENTS of the Club de l’Epagneul Breton of the United States, Inc. Bylaws. Upon successful vote, this amendment would take immediate effect at all CEB-US field trials until otherwise voted out by established procedures.As members, we possess the authority to vote on issues concerning our dogs' safety and recovery. We initiate this change to ensure their well-being through the process outlined in Article XI AMENDMENTS sections 1, 2, and 3.
