  • The mental health challenges facing today’s teenagers are growing at an alarming rate, with anxiety and depression becoming more prevalent. At the T.E.A Foundation, we’ve seen the emotional struggles teens are facing firsthand, and we’re committed to making a difference.

    Our 4-month Mental-ship Program is designed to support the unique emotional and psychological needs of teen girls ages 13-18 in our community. With the help of licensed professionals, we offer:

    ✅ Relationship-building activities

    ✅ Workshops on understanding emotions, anxiety, depression, and sexual health

    ✅ Group therapy sessions

    ✅ Mindfulness exercises

    ✅ Art therapy

    ✅ Adventure outings

    ✅ Inspiring guest speakers

     Through these age-appropriate, engaging, and educational programs, teens will gain the tools to manage their mental health challenges, build stronger relationships, and foster a healthier connection with themselves.

     Key Details:

    • Program Duration: Feb 21st through May 31st.

    • Meeting Frequency: 1-2 activities per month.

    • Group Size: Activities are limited to 15-20 participants to ensure personalized attention for each teen.

    • Locations: Activities are held at various venues throughout the Oklahoma City metro area, including Dunlap codding, Urban Bridge, Chicken N Pickle, Sweet Mimosa's Day Spa and Honeylee Ranch.

    • Transportation: Participants are required to arrange their own transportation. 

     This program offers a unique opportunity for your teen to connect with peers, build self-confidence, and develop essential life skills in a safe and nurturing setting.

    Game Night- 2/21/26- 6:00-8:30p.m (Location: Dunlap Codding)

    This is the Icebreaker!! Join us at Dunlap Codding, for an epic night of fun and games. Bring your friends, test your skills, and make lasting memories together! (Includes: Games, food and beverages.)

     

    Vision Board Party- 3/15/26- 3:00-6:00p.m (Location: Urban Bridge)

    Dream big and create a vision for your future at our vision board party. Visualize your goals and aspirations while having a blast with friends. (Includes: Supplies, food and beverages.)

     

    Paint N Chat- 3/28/26- 1:00-5:00p.m (Location: Chicken N Pickle)

    Get ready to unleash your creativity and meet new friends in our paint n chat session! Express yourself through art while engaging in meaningful conversations, while being inspired by our surprise guest speakers. (Includes: Games, Supplies, food and beverages.)

     

    Self-Care Day- 4/18/26- TBD (Location: Sweet Mimosa's Day Spa)

    This activity is an all day event that includes facials, massages, light fitness, sound therapy and meals.

     

    Horseback Riding- 5/17/26- 8:30-3:30p.m (Location: HoneyLee Ranch)

    Saddle up! Experience the beauty of nature while bonding with majestic horses. Our horseback riding adventure promises an unforgettable day of connection and adventure. (Includes: All gear)

     

    Mental-Health Retreat- 5/31/26-11:00-3:00p.m (Location: Dunlap Codding)

    Join licensed professionals for a 1-day workshop focused on vital topics: Sexual health and mental health. Teens will gain knowledge, insights, and tools to navigate these crucial aspects of life with confidence.

     

  • Program Participation Guidelines:

     

    Registration Requirement: All participants must be signed up prior to the program start date.

    Non-Refundable Policy: All activities and program fees are non-refundable. Please ensure your availability before committing to any activity.

    Transportation: Teens are required to have reliable transportation to and from program activities. The program does not provide transportation services.

    Attendance and Punctuality: Participants should arrive on time for all activities. Repeated lateness or absences without prior notification may result in removal from future activities.

    Anti-Bullying Policy: The program enforces a zero-tolerance policy for bullying of any kind, including verbal, physical, and cyberbullying. Participants are expected to treat each other with respect and kindness.

    Code of Conduct: Teens must adhere to a respectful and positive behavior standard, maintaining a supportive and welcoming environment for all participants.

    Dress Code: A modest and activity-appropriate dress code must be followed to maintain a safe and respectful environment for everyone.

    Electronic Devices: Use of electronic devices is allowed only when permitted by program staff. Unauthorized use may lead to temporary confiscation.

    Safety and Emergency Procedures: Teens are expected to follow all safety guidelines and emergency procedures provided during activities.

    Confidentiality and Privacy: Participants should respect the confidentiality of discussions and personal information shared during program activities.

    Participation and Engagement: Teens should actively participate and engage in all chosen activities, contributing positively to group discussions and tasks.

    Respect for Diversity: All participants must demonstrate respect for the diversity of opinions, backgrounds, and identities within the group, supporting an inclusive and affirming space for everyone.

    Program Feedback: Constructive feedback is encouraged, and participants may be asked to provide insights to help improve future activities.
