A dog is considered to be "at large" if it is off the premises of the owner and not under the control of the owner by leash, cord, chain or otherwise.
Dogs are not allowed in City Parks or Cemeteries - even if they are on a leash
Millville City requires proof of a current rabies vaccination signed by a licensed veterinarian.
Any change to the information on the license must be provided to Millville City so that records can be updated. The owner must provide in writing any of the following changes: dog ownership, residing address, loss or return of dog, death of dog.
Dog tags are not transferable from one dog to another. In the case that a dog tag is lost or destroyed a duplicate will be issued with a fee of $1.
No refunds will be made on any fees because of death/loss of a dog or the owner leaving the City before expiration of the license period.
