Why can't I order directly from Cambridge?
In order to save costs for RJDS families, we use a bulk ordering system with Cambridge Uniforms and iKippah, and have a parent volunteer to pick them up from North Vancouver (only for scheduled orders). After the submission deadline (invoices must be paid), the committee will submit a bulk order to Cambridge.
What if I need uniforms in between bulk ordering periods?
We understand that kids grow and new families join the school mid-year, so we want to be as accommodating as possible for urgent situations. However, this is a volunteer committee and each order takes time, so please understand we cannot make guarantees outside of the regularly scheduled orders. Keep in mind that each order to Cambridge must include a minimum of (6) branded items and if it's not a committee-scheduled order, you will be responsible for the shipping cost.
Another option is to purchase from the PAC supply of used uniforms, if any of the needed items are available. E-mail rjdsuniforms@gmail.com to schedule a time with a committee member.
In the meantime, connect with the principal, Ms. Bhojani, to learn acceptable alternatives while you wait for your order to arrive.
When and how will I receive my order?
From the time we place our order with Cambridge, you should expect to receive your items in 4-6 weeks during the regular school year. During back to school season, orders can take up to 8-10 weeks. The items will be delivered to the school and you will be notified when they are ready for pickup.
