It is understood that it is the responsibility and expense of the attendee(s)/school to organise and cover related travel expenses for the two-day face to face learning and to have suitable internet access for the online modules.In the event of a national or international pandemic or weather event, and should travel be restricted or schools close, the planned two-day face to face will continue remotely.The face-to-face PLD may switch to online delivery or a different location within the cohort if the minimum requirement of 40 participants is not reached or if a regional facilitator is unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances, such as illness.A valid MoE Application Reference Number (ARN) must be supplied at the time of application. Failure to do so will result in the registration not being booked.The MoE requires attendance at all PLD sessions. Learning MATTERS is required to monitor and escalate attendance issues to the MoE. Attendance issues could result in school funding being removed by the MoE. Makeup sessions may be available.The MoE requires Learning MATTERS to collect and submit impact assessment data in accordance with the MoE's assessment requirements. You agree to provide Learning MATTERS with this data as part of this PLD.To achieve the Application of Structured Literacy Teaching Certification, attendees are required to attend three full days (9am to 3pm) of PLD in person, plus attend eight 1.5hour online community of practice sessions.
