  • Welcome to Code/Art's Club for Girls! All clubs meet once a week and are taught by live instructors. 

    The main goals of Code/Art Clubs are to:

    • Foster creativity through technology
    • Build confidence in programming skills
    • Encourage collaborative learning
    • Promote inclusivity in tech spaces
    • Develop problem-solving and critical thinking skills
    • Provide role models and mentorship
    • Encourage project-based learning and portfolio building

  • Welcome to Code/Art's Club for Girls! Code/Art Clubs aim to spark creativity, build confidence in programming, and foster collaboration in an inclusive space. Students also gain mentorship, strengthen problem-solving skills, critical thinking and design skills.

    All clubs meet once a week and are taught by live instructors. Please select the date/time option that works for your child's free trial:

    • Wednesdays from 5 PM - 6:30 PM (best for new coders or students in grades 3-5)

    • Saturdays from 9:30 AM - 11 AM (best for coders with some experience or in grades 6-8)

    Once you've completed the form, Code/Art will reach out with information on joining the session.

  • Agreements & Acknowledgments

  • Code of Conduct - Virtual

    By checking the box below, I confirm that I have read, understood, and agree to follow the Code/Art Virtual Club Code of Conduct. I have reviewed the Code of Conduct with my child and agree to help support a respectful, safe, and inclusive learning environment.

  • Code of Conduct - In-Person

    By checking the box below, I confirm that I have read, understood, and agree to follow the Code/Art In-Person Club Code of Conduct. I have reviewed the Code of Conduct with my child and agree to help support a respectful, safe, and inclusive learning environment.

  • Media Release Agreement

    I authorize Code/Art to photograph and/or film my child and any projects created by her during Code/Art Clubs or submitted to Code/Art's coding competition and/or exhibition. Additionally, I understand that Code/Art records Zoom meetings for student safety and training purposes, and that these recordings will be deleted at the end of the school year. My child may keep their camera off during these sessions. Code/Art encourages having the camera on to enhance engagement.


    Furthermore, I understand that the images may be used in print publications, online publications, presentations, websites, and social media for educational purposes and to promote Code/Art’s initiatives. I also understand that no royalty, fee, or other compensation shall become payable to me by reason of such use. I have not been compensated nor will I seek compensation for any photos taken by Code/Art staff. I release Code/Art from responsibility should a third party violate the terms of this release.

  • Release of Liability - Virtual

    By signing below, I, the undersigned parent or legal guardian of the participating minor, acknowledge and agree to the following terms as a condition of participation in the virtual after-school club sessions hosted by Code/Art (“the Program”), conducted via Zoom or other online platforms:

    1. Waiver of Claims: I voluntarily waive any and all claims, demands, or causes of action that I or my child may now or in the future have against Code/Art, its directors, officers, employees, agents, volunteers, and representatives (collectively referred to as “the Releasees”) arising out of or in connection with participation in the Program.

    2. Assumption of Risk and Release of Liability: I understand that participation in any online program involves inherent risks, including but not limited to exposure to inappropriate language or behavior by other participants, unauthorized access to virtual meetings, and technical issues. I agree that the Releasees shall not be held liable for any loss, damage, personal injury (physical or emotional), or expenses that I or my child may suffer as a result of participation in the Program, whether arising from the negligence of the Releasees or otherwise.

    3. Indemnification: I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Releasees from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, or costs (including reasonable attorney’s fees) arising out of or in connection with my child’s participation in the Program, including any harm or injury to third parties caused by my child’s conduct during virtual sessions.

    4. Technology Use: I understand that participation in the Program requires access to a device with internet connectivity. I acknowledge that I am responsible for providing and maintaining such access and for monitoring my child’s participation to ensure compliance with online safety and behavior standards.
  • Release of Liability - In-person

    I, the undersigned, am the parent or legal guardian of the child named above, who is a minor child, younger than 18 years of age. Said child will hitherto be referred to as “My Child." I acknowledge and grant permission for My Child to participate in the Code/Art program named above at the location listed above.

    I agree to ensure that My Child will attend at least 80% of the program and complete all projects in order to receive their certificate of completion. I understand that I must notify Code/Art if there is an emergency requiring My Child to miss a session. If My Child has an unexcused absence, Code/Art reserves the right to give their spot to another child from the waitlist.


    In consideration of participation and engagement with Code/Art, I hereby agree as follows:

    1. TO WAIVE ANY AND ALL CLAIMS that I have or may have in the future against Code/Art, their directors, officers, employees, agents or representatives (all of whom are referred to as” the releases”)

    2. TO RELEASE THE RELEASES from any and all liability for any loss, damage, physical or mental injury, expenses or medical attention that “I”, my next of kin or any and all guests may suffer as a result of my participation in any activity provided, funded, associated or sponsored by Code/Art due to any cause whatsoever, including negligence on the part of any releases.

    3. TO HOLD HARMLESS AND INDEMNIFY THE RELEASES from any and all liability for damage to property of or personal injury to any third party resulting from my participation in any activity provided, funded, associated or sponsored by Code/Art.

    Code/Art's mission is to increase the number of girls in computer science. By checking this box, I confirm that the child being registered is female or identifies as female.
