Thank you for your interest in housing at MICA throughout the December (2024) and January (2025) months when the Residence Halls and various departments at MICA are closed.

This application is only for current MICA residents seeking to extend their contract over these months.
The application will open on November 15, 2024 and will close on November 30, 2024.

Please note: Winter Break Housing Applications will be reviewed in the order which they were received.

The Office of Residence Life does not guarantee that a resident will be able to remain in their current assignment over this period - in fact, the plan is to consolidate residents into a particular residence hall. Information regarding campus amenities (such as Dining Services) will be updated by the respective departments. Please note that all room assignments for the Winter Break will be made based on the answers provided in Section 2.

Please note that from December 22, 2023 until January 2, 2024, MICA will be closed and all departments (including Residence Life) will be closed as well. Campus Safety and other emergency personnel will be in operational modes.

We strongly suggest that residents approved for winter housing to stock food and dining supplies in advance to assist with the closure of the dining facilities.

Any student that withdraws after the date and time listed above will be charged a $75.00 cancellation fee.*
