The Chef Barbara Sanders Scholarship
Barbara Sanders was a a Culinary Educator for 19 years, a longtime member of the ACF White Mountain Chapter and a member of the American Academy of Chefs
Eligbility Requirements:
Must be a full time New Hampshire Resident
Be a student in good standing with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher , currently enrolled or a recent graduate of Lakes Region Technolgy Center, Mount Washington Valley Career and Technical Center, White Mountain Regional High School or Northpoint CTE
Be accepted to or currently enrolled at an institution with a culinary, pastry or foodservice related major or an ACF Approved Apprenticeship Program
Application Procedure:
Completed online application must be received by March 15, 2025.
Award Distribution ($5,000.00)
One half of the scholarship award will be sent directly to the applicant after the successful completion of the first semester with a minimum 2.75 GPA (or ACF Apprenticeship equivalent)and after the applicant has registered for the second semester(or apprenticeship program equivalent).
The remainder of the award will be distributed after the successful completion of the second semester.
It is the Scholarship Recipients sole responsibility to send transcripts and a letter verifying you have both succesfully completed your first semester with a minimum GPA of 2.75 (or ACF apprenticeship equivalent)and have enrolled for your second semester.

The ACF White Mountain Chapter reserves the right not to award thisscholarship if applicant pool does not meet the criteria and/or to cancel the scholarship award at anytime if the applicant fails to meet the standards of academic progress or falsifies application information

Culinary Competition Participation - submit letter or certificate from competition organizer or team coach. Acceptable competitions include Skills USA, Pro Start or in school competitions that have been held within the last 12 months. Only one competition can be submitted per scholarship application.
