    Our Binder, Taping & Tucking Program provides essential resources and education on safe binding, taping, and tucking practices for gender expression. This program supports individuals seeking to align their presentation with their gender identity by offering a selection of free binders and tucking kits, as well as guidance on proper techniques to ensure comfort and safety. We emphasize body positivity, safety tips, and offer expert-led workshops that cover topics such as choosing the right materials, understanding body limits, and best practices for everyday use.

  • In order to recieve the gender-affirming products, you must complete each of the following steps: 

     

    Step 1 - Sign the Liability Waiver 

    Step 2 - Attend two Course Workshops given during C.A.R.E., Beyond the Binary, or In My Adulting Era.

    Step 3 - Get measured by our certified professional if getting the binder

    Step 4 - Complete a healthcare needs assessment 

    Step 5 - Pick up the product from PVP

    Step 6 - Attend check-in meeting two weeks after you receive the product

    At Pomona Valley Pride, we’re proud to provide resources like our Binder, Taping, and Tucking Program to support trans and non-binary individuals.

    Please Note:  We are not a medical office or provider. Our program offers affirming health education and support, but this is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Improper use of products or techniques may lead to long-term health effects, including chronic pain.

    Workshops are facilitated by an educator pursuing a Master’s in Social Work, with a background in Gender and Sexuality Studies. While not a medical professional, they are committed to providing safe, affirming information based on current research.
