Expression of Interest: Application for PYEEEP New Cohort Recruitment-2025

Dear Youth,

We are thrilled to announce that the Pacific Youth Engagement, Empowerment, and Economic Pathways (PYEEEP) Project has successfully completed training pathways with the first cohort of youth in Solomon Islands. We are now inviting expressions of interest for the second cohort. Please find the application details and eligibility criteria below.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Must be a Solomon Islands citizen.
- Aged 18-34 (must NOT be turning 35 before July 2025).
- Not currently engaged in any education, employment, or training.
- Did not complete secondary school (Form 6). Youth who left school in Form 3 or 4 are encouraged to apply.
- For Mary Mazzarello- only female candidates are eligible.
- Please feel free to share this information with youth who meet the above criteria.

Key information for Applicant
1. This form will be provided in English only as basic English will be required to proceed to PYEEEP pathway.
2. Whilst you will be provided a small stipend to cover your costs (Lunch & bus fare) the project will not cover accommodation or housing expenses. If you are relocated to the main Island to take part in this project you must provide your own, safe and appropriate accommodation however the project w will
  provide a small boarding fee to support you while staying in Honiara for the duration of the program.
3. Project will cover the transportation for those from the outer Islands to the main Island and return.
4. Undertaking this pathway requires commitment for the duration of the nominated course and the 10 weeks of internship period. This will start at the beginning of 2025.
5. Please include a character reference / letter or police report
6. Provide a copy of ID or birth certificate – if this is not possible, please speak with the team at MWYCFA.
