  • We are in need of two types of judges:

    INTERVIEW JUDGES - need 3-4
Friday, Feb 7th, 9:00am-4:00pm (lunch will be provided)
These judges will be conducting 10-15 minute interviews with the students throughout the day. They will have an interview form to fill out, and will ask questions to discern how much the students learned, and how much they understood and can explain theri research. The goal of these judges is to honor the hard work of the students and to encourage their further interest in science, math and engineering.

    CATEGORY JUDGES - need 25-30
Friday, Feb 7th, 5:00pm- until judging finishes (often 10pm) (dinner will be provided)
The evening judges will be judging many projects throughout the night. Each project is judged a minimum of 3 times, and the three scores are averaged to get the final score. This means we need LOTS of judges. These judges will not be interacting with the students, but will need to be able to quickly assess a project and fairly judge it according to the guidelines provided. Judges will caucus at the end of the evening to determine top awards in each grade level.
