After School Club for Grades 3rd-6th Wednesdays, 2:45-3:45 Fall Semester (9/10/25-12/17/25) or Spring Semester (1/14/26-4/29/26)
Mind Movers is an after school club that is centered around games! It encourages social interaction, problem-solving, and physical activity! This camp will rotate between different types of games each week...Board Games: Board games like Tapple, Ticket to Ride, Battleship or Blokus develop critical thinking, strategy, turn-taking, and friendly competition. Digital Games: iPad games that focus on math, reading, or logic puzzles, like Crayon Physics, Contraption Maker or Minecraft Education combine entertainment with educational benefits. Physical Games: Active games, such as obstacle courses, relay races, or freeze dances give kids a chance to burn off energy and improve coordination. Game Design: Kids will have the opportunity to create new games in any of the focused areas: board, digital or physical.

General Information

The cost of this club is $350 payable to Mrs. Brister via one of the methods below. You must submit payment for your registration to be complete.

Mind Movers is accepting a maximum of 16 students per semester, however, must have a minimum of 8 for the club to make.

Students getting picked up afterwards may do so on the Belhaven side of the school by the big stairs near the office entrance. Parents may pull up alongside the curb and wait for students to come out at 3:45pm.

Deadline to sign up for the fall session is Friday, August 29th, and Friday, January 9th for the spring semester.
