Witamy, once again we are inviting you and your family to join us at the annual camp at el Rancho in Waikanae to be held on the 13 - 15 February 2026
For newcomers, the camp is run by parents and teachers of Polish School and Orleta. The three days are filled with fun activities for children and teens of all ages. Based on a theme and some Polish language (last year we focussed on craft), there are art activities, competitions, obstacle course, group games, cookouts, singalongs and lots of fun opportunities including optional swimming, kayaking, volleyball, trampolining, wall climbing, water sliding, beach walks, a shared outdoor pot luck meal (Polish foods), Orleta Polish dance workshop. We may even schedule a childrens Glo stick disco for the Saturday night.
The first day is usually settling in, cooking kielbaski and marsmallows over fires for our evening meal, getting to know everyone and generally exploring the camp. The next couple of days are full of scheduled as well as free time activities
Breakfasts and lunches are catered for at the camp. Parents are asked to bring a contribution of Polish food for a shared meal on Saturday evening and any snacks they may choose for in between meals.
Your family will be assigned a selfcontained unit which they will share with another family.
