Thank you for your interest in the PSA Academic Prizes.
For over 30 years, the PSA has been celebrating the very best of our profession through our Academic Prizes. Our award categories recognise outstanding dissertations, scholars, teaching and groups across the discipline.
Winners will be unveiled at the PSA’s Annual Conference (14-16 April, 2025) during our Annual General Meeting and also announced over social media and our website.
You can use this form to submit your nomination for any of the prizes in the RESEARCH category.

Research Prizes Prizes:
- Nominees must be members of the PSA
- The Richard Rose Prize is open to early-career scholars within 10 years from PhD*
- The Carole Pateman and Pippa Norris Prizes are for outstanding research contributions to advancing knowledge in political studies.
- Nominations will not be considered without the required supporting documents
*Eligibility period may be extended in cases of career interruptions (e.g. due to maternity/parental leave; caring responsibilities; illness; unemployment) - please note this on the relevant question, if applicable.
