    By applying to enter the Argyll Piping Trust competitions, you agree to abide by the Rules. Entrants for the McGregor Memorial Competition agree to abide by the Rules of that Competition.

    Note that entries for the open competitions must be lodged according to the published timetable, the critical date being 31 January each year for requesting a Ruling on Eligibility from the Joint Committee. Late entries will not be accepted.

    Privacy

    The information you submit on this form will be used by Argyll Piping Trust purely in order to run the competitions as set out in our Privacy Statement.

    As part of the Competition, we will publish your name, city, county, country and your competition results will be published online and in print. By applying to enter you indicate that you consent to such publication and for us to contact you using the email address which you have provided above.

    Should you withdraw from the Competition after being accepted, this will be recorded (but not published) and may be considered by us if you apply again in future years.

  • Entrance fee

    Your application has been accepted subject to paying our Entrance Fee; your entry will not be accepted unless you pay the Fee. The Fee is the same regardless of how many competitions you enter, and goes towards our administration costs.

    Competitors are not restricted to settings in the Piobaireachd Society Collection and Kilberry Book. Those who wish to play alternative settings should submit legible scores, indicating the origins of the settings, to competition organisers along with their tune selections.
