The APSA/PSA International Partnerships Award recognizes outstanding cross-Atlantic partnerships in political studies through contributions in teaching, research, or civic engagement.
Application Deadline: 5pm (GMT) Friday, 24 January 2025
Award Requirements: Entries must demonstrate a collaborative effort that has produced one of the following outputs:
- Scholarly: Peer-reviewed articles, special issues, or academic texts.
- Pedagogic: Teaching resources, guides, or curricula.
- Policy-oriented: Policy papers, briefs, or networks.
- Civic engagement: Blogs, vlogs, or community projects.
Award Details:
- A panel from APSA and PSA will review entries.
- The winning entry will be announced at PSA’s Annual Conference in Birmingham, UK, in April 2025, and will be awarded a cash prize worth £2000.
Eligibility:
- Self-nominations are permitted.
- Collaborative partnerships must include at least two individuals residing in two different countries.
- Anyone applying for the award who is based at a UK higher education institution must be a member of either APSA or PSA. Anyone applying for the award from outside the UK does not need to be a member of either association.
- The award focuses on contributions from 2023 or 2024, recognising a single collaborative project, not cumulative work.
- Interdisciplinary efforts and DEI-focused approaches are welcome.
