    1. Payment & Deposit:

    • A deposit of 50% of the agreed upon total is required upon booking to secure the event date.

    • The remaining balance is due no later than artist arrival time requested in this agreement.  Artist will not commence work until the remaining balance has been received. Prompt payment ensures the event proceeds as planned and avoids any disruption to services.  Any payment received after this time will incur a daily late payment fee of 10% of outstanding balance. This fee will apply starting the day after the payment deadline and will continue to accrue until the balance is paid in full.

    2. Cancellation Policy:

    • Cancellations made more than a month before the event will result in a full refund of payments, excluding the non-refundable deposit.

    • Cancellations made less than a month before the event will forfeit the deposit and any additional payments made.

    3. Setup Requirements

     The Client must provide:

    • 3 chairs per artist (1 for the artist and 2 for subjects).

    • Access to electricity for lighting and/or equipment.

    • At least a 5x5 space to accommodate workable performance space.

    4. Overtime Policy:

    • If the event extends beyond the agreed-upon end time (and the Head Artist deems it permissible), additional time must be prepaid in full before the start of the extra hour. The rate for additional time is $50 per half hour (or portion thereof). Failure to provide payment in advance will result in the service concluding at the scheduled end time.

    5. Service Terms:

    • The Artist will provide caricature drawings in a cartoon style. These are not intended to be realistic portraits.

    • The Artist reserves the right to decline requests for redrawing or altering completed caricatures.

    6. Performance Conditions:

    • The Artist shall not be held responsible for delays caused by conditions outside their control, including but not limited to:

    • Unavailability of chairs, allocated performance space or electricity.

    • Disruptive behavior from event attendees.

    7. Liability Waiver:

    • The Artist is not liable for accidents, injuries, or damages that occur during the event.

    • The Client assumes responsibility for maintaining a safe and secure working environment for the Artist.

    8. Force Majeure:

    • In the event of unforeseen circumstances (e.g., severe weather, illness, or emergencies), the Artist reserves the right to cancel or reschedule services. Any payments made will be refunded, including the deposit, or applied to a rescheduled event, if agreed upon by both parties.
