Recreation Nova Scotia has created a "Recreation Equipment Marketplace" program to help recreation providers to recycle, reuse and rehome recreation equipment throughout Nova Scotia.
Organizations can use this listing to:
- Sell used equipment that is still in good condition
- List equipment to trade with another organization
- Buy used equipment
- Giveaway free used equipment
Equipment will be listed on the Recreation Nova Scotia Website, www.recreationns.ns.ca on the equipment loan page. Interested organziations can reach out directly to the lister to make arrangements for equipment exchanges. Once an arrangement has been made, the lister is required to inform Recreation Nova Scotia of the pending deal, and when a deal is complete in order to keep listings up-to-date.
