Risk Management Consultant

Sigma Alpha Epsilon is looking for a Risk Management Consultant to lead proactive health and safety initiatives, guide chapters through accountability processes, and ensure our members have the tools and knowledge to build a responsible and thriving brotherhood.
As a key member of our team, you will directly shape the future of Sigma Alpha Epsilon by implementing health and safety strategies, supporting chapter redevelopment, and working closely with undergraduate members, alumni, and leadership. This role offers the opportunity to make a tangible impact on chapter operations while developing leadership, crisis management, and strategic problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead Risk Reduction Efforts: Develop and implement strategies to enhance health, safety, and risk prevention across all chapters.

Support Chapter Development: Assist with redevelopment and accountability initiatives, including membership reviews, corrective action plans, and alumni commissions.

Ensure Policy Compliance: Oversee the implementation of sanctions and guide chapters through the accountability process.

Measure Impact: Develop metrics and reporting systems to track risk levels and safety improvements across chapters.

Collaborate with Leadership: Work closely with the Director of Chapter Services, Chapter Services Consultants, and Risk Management team to execute strategic goals.

Engage with Volunteers & Advisors: Maintain strong communication with key stakeholders, including house corporations, advisory boards and alumni commissions.

Hands-on Chapter Support: Facilitate redevelopment retreats, and provide direct guidance to chapters navigating risk-related challenges.

Travel & On-Site Assistance: Visit chapters as needed to provide in-person support and training.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree required

Membership in Sigma Alpha Epsilon preferred

Ability to travel as needed

Ability to work remotely within driving distance of a major airport or in the Chicago metropolitan area
Flexibility to work extended hours or weekends when necessary
