The Madison County Farm Bureau is offering scholarship awards to Madison County Farm Bureau members' children, preference given to applicants majoring in Agriculture. The scholarship is for the purpose of continuing higher education at a two or four-year college/university or technical school.

QUALIFICATIONS - Applications will be accepted from students meeting the following qualifications:

1. Must be a Madison County Resident.

2. Must be enrolled as a full-time student in a four year a college/university program, or in a two-year technical program for Fall Quarter/Semester of 2025. (Preference given to applicants majoring in agriculture.)

3. Parents/guardian or applicant must be a Madison County Farm Bureau member.

CONDITIONS OF THE SCHOLARSHIP-

1. The award will be used towards the student's tuition and fees and will be processed through the scholarship office of the chosen school.

2. The dollar amount will be at the scholarship committee's discretion, not to exceed the budgeted amount.

SELECTION - Selection of the final applicants will be made by the scholarship committee & approved by the Madison County Farm Bureau Board of Trustees.

WHERE AND HOW TO APPLY - Send the completed application to the scholarship committee by March 27, 2025 via this jotform. 

NOTIFICATION OF WINNERS - our office will notify the winners. Winners will be required to give a photograph to Farm Bureau for our publications and social media.

The application and information received will be property of the Madison County Farm Bureau and will be held in strict confidence.

Please provided three letters of recommendation from individuals who are familiar with your personal character, your accomplishments, and your educational interests. (May not be provided by a relative)

Essay Questions

1. Please include a short summary or personal statement describing your accomplishments and goals. (200 words or less)

2. Briefly discuss one way the Madison County Farm Bureau benefits the community. (200 words or less)

Please attached a current resume or list of activities, awards, and honors. Resume/list of activities should not exceed two (2) pages.

Please attach a copy of your high school and/or college transcript including ALL grades.
