The Blue Jacket Bonanza Program is organized to provide FFA students with the opportunity to earn their own FFA blue jacket.
The jackets are awarded based upon need, community service activities, leadership skills and a commitment to the FFA program. A jacket will be awarded on a one-time basis per student.
The requirements for the jacket are:
The JotForm Application and Advisor Reccomendation must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. Friday, January 17th.
Applicants must be currently enrolled in a high school FFA program and be a student in good standing.
Jacket sizing MUST be measured with the jacket ordering guidelines. Please note that Delaware Farm Bureau will not be responsible for replacing jackets that are measured incorrectly. Male jacket sizes are 100 (size). Female jacket sizes are 103 (size).
Eligible students must Be a resident of the state of Delaware
Submit a completed application
Complete the essay portion of the application: write a 2-page paper describing what FFA means to you, your career goals, what FFA has taught you, and your achievements and leadership roles while in FFA
Complete at least 10 hours of community service
Make sure the Advisor JotForm is completed.
A committee of 3 members, appointed by the Delaware Farm Bureau, will review the applications and determine the recipients. There will be a limited number of jackets awarded.
