Please read and review the duties and expectations as indicated in the Council Membership pledge:

    • Being a member of the Texas Home Care & Hospice PAC Council takes time and dedication.
    • Members of the Texas Home Care & Hospice PAC Council take their responsibility seriously. When they agree to serve, they realize that time expectations are established for Council participation.
    • Council meetings are held in person or virtually at least four times a year in conjunction with TAHC&H committee meetings, and monthly via virtual means at the discretion of the PAC president. During these meetings Council reports are shared, progress is reported, decisions are made, directives are issued, and new areas charted. The Officers of the Council expect that Council Members will attend all meetings, be prompt, and remain for the duration of the meeting. Council members are allowed two (2) unexcused missed meetings.
    • Council Members are required to make a minimum annual contribution of $500 during each year of service per the PAC Bylaws. Council members MUST make a minimum contribution of $125 (25% of the required $500) to the PAC by the end of the first quarter (March 31st) of the calendar year.
    • Council Members are expected to assist in raising PAC contributions for the PAC and will be asked to call upon their fellow TAHC&H members periodically to encourage PAC contributions.
    • Council members determine the donations to be made from the PACs to state and federal candidates.
    • PAC Council Members and Officers are special people...leaders in their field. The Council recognizes that its members are active and that their time is precious. For this reason, the Council respects the time of each of its Council Members and selectively requests their involvement where they can be most effective.
