    2. Understand that pets adopted from Small n Furry Rescue go through a health check and quarentine period prior to adoption. This may include veterinary care which will be disclosed at the time of adoption. This animal may require future veterinary care, including but not limited to; annual wellness exams, preventative care, illness/injury management. This can be both a financial and emotional investment, which you will be responsible for once the adoption is finalized.

    3. The Small n Furry Rescue members strive to ensure that they are familiar with the health of all animals in their care. Some of the animals in the rescue's care have pre-existing medical contions that will be addressed by the rescue. Some of these issues are chronic conditions that will require lifelong care. The rescue members will do everything to make sure the animal you are adopting is in good health, or that any health conditons are disclosed and an appropriate treatment plan is in place prior to adoption.

    4. All animals in the rescue's care go through a species specific behavior assessment to ensure that they are the ideal match for their new families. However, situations and different environmental stressors can alter an animal's behavior at any time. You understand that Small n Furry Rescue and its members are not liable for any injury/illness/damage caused by the pet that you elect to adopt. This includes bites/scratches/damage to property or person or another animal.

    5. If at any time during the animal's life you are no longer able to provide the pet with appropriate care, you agree to notify Small n Furry Rescue and return said animal to Small n Furry Rescue unless alternative placement is discussed.

    6. A donation to the rescue for the pet's adoption will be suggested at the time of adoption. This donation is dependent on the species of animal that you are adopting and the care that was provided while the animal was in the rescue.

    7. Most animals are housed at the rescue founder's private residence. You agree that you will not discloss the address or contact information of the rescue unless permission is given by the rescue organization. Some animals are kept in foster homes off-site and adoption pickup will be arranged on a case by case basis.
