    Term 1 Registration 2025

  • This registration is for Term 1, 2025. All players must register.

    One form to be completed in full for each applicant. 

    REGISTRATIONS WILL CLOSE ON SUNDAY 1ST DECEMBER 2024

     

    * Please note that the affiliations can take photos and use these for media purposes. These affiliations also have waivers should you want to use these, please contact them directly.

  • Bethlehem College relies heavily on parent coaches and managers to lead the different teams. If you are interested in committing to a team for this term, please indicate this below.

    You do not need to have past coaching experience - just a positive and committed attitude to the team. 

  • Please note: without parent volunteers to coach and manage we are unable to enter teams, we require coaches and managers for every team prior to entering teams with Tauranga Volleyball 

  • PLAYER COMMITMENT

    Venue: QEYC, Otumoetai Action Centre or Trustpower Arena. 

  • BC Year 3 - 6 Students (depending on numbers)

    These students play on Friday afternoon/nights. Practices are held Wednesday lunch times. Each team will require a coach and a manager prior to entering teams with Tauranga Volleyball. Start Date TBC

  • BC Year 7 and 8 Students

    6-aside league on Full Court. Intermediate teams play Friday afternoon/nights. Practices are decided on by coaches, however, we recommend Monday - Tuesday lunchtimes. Each team will require a coach and a manager prior to entering teams with Tauranga Volleyball. Start Date TBC

  • BC Year 9 and 10 Students 6-aside 

    Junior A Boys and Girls - Tuesday or Thursday afternoon/nights games 


    Junior B Boys and Girls - Tuesday afternoon/nights games 


    Other Junior Teams - Tuesday afternoon/evenings

    TOURNAMENT INFORMATION:

    THERE ARE NO TOURNAMENTS FOR JUNIOR A OR B TEAMS IN TERM 1, 2025

    SENIOR A AND B TEAMS WILL PARTICIPATE IN THE BAY OF PLENTY VOLLEYBALL CHAMPS DURING TERM 1, 2025. DATES AND LOCATION TO BE ADVISED ONCE CONFIRMED. THE COST FOR THIS WILL BE BETWEEN $180-$210 (Increase in price is due to liklihood of the tournament being in Rotorua over three weekends. Charges will be confirmed once all details are confirmed. These will include entry fee, coach fee and mileage)

    SENIOR A TEAMS WILL PARTICIPATE IN THE NEW ZEALAND SECONDARY SCHOOLS VOLLEYBALL CHAMPS - DATES 23-29th March 2025 THE COST FOR THIS WILL BE APPROXIMATELY $900. The exact costs will be determined closer to the time. They will include accommodation, milegae, entry fee, coach fee, food allocation). A NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of $250 will be charged upon team announcement

     

    It is a requirement that if you play in a Senior A or B team you commit to these tournaments and the costs associated. Please contact the Sports office if you wish to discuss these costs.

  • TRIALS

    FINANCIAL COMMITMENT

    Term 1 2025 Fees 

    To ensure equal charges to each individual, the full amount that BC are invoiced from TGA Volleyball will be split across all individual students. 

    Year 3-6 term 1: $55

    Years 7-8 term 1: $70

    Jnr 9-10 / Snr 11-13 (excluding A&B teams) term 1:  $80

    Jnr B & Snr B teams: $90 *

    Jnr A: $105 

    Senior A teams term 1: $175 **

    *In Term 1, 2025, both Senior A&B teams will be attending Bay Champs. They will be charged entry fee, coach fee and any other expenses associated with tournament separately. Another jotform will be sent closer to the time.

    **Senior A teams will be attending the New Zealand SS Volleyball Champs  2025. They will be charged entry fee, coach fee and any other expenses associated with tournament separately. Another jotform will be sent closer to the time. There will also be a NON-REFUNDABLE tournament deposit to pay.

    Strength and conditioning sessions will incur an extra charge. 

    If players decide to withdraw after being placed in a team they will still be liable for the full payment. Bethlehem College has to commit to expenses associated with the teams once registrations are completed.

     

    UNIFORM

    Primary and Year 7 & 8: Wear BC PE uniform

    Years 9-10: Wear BC PE uniform

    Years 11-13: Volleyball playing tops are given to the players for the season.  If these are lost or not returned, then the Player is liable for a fee of $65. 

    Girls are to wear black spandex, minimum 5 inch (for practices & games).  Boys are to purchase black volleyball shorts from the uniform shop.

  • TEAMS

    Teams will be formed by the sports office and signed off by the Director of Sport. Once announced teams are final. There needs to be a minimum of 8 players in each team.

    We understand that there is need for some children to be placed in teams strategically due to travel requirements and other logistical reasons. If a request is made for students to be in the same team, we will seek to do our best to honour that request BEFORE THE TEAMS ARE NAMED.

    Please be aware that we may not be able to accomodate all requests, and we will ony be working with requests direct from parents, NOT from students. Once the teams are named, the lists are final. Please indicate in the area below if you have specific requests.

    Please note the Trial process (for Y9-13) overrides all of the above
