Christmas is quickly approaching and plans for our 10th annual Hometown Holidays festival are well under way. We are hoping to make this year’s festival bigger and better than ever with the help of YOU and your business! As hundreds of people flood our downtown district for the event, we would like to give you the opportunity to promote your business and to participate in all the holiday fun! Please complete the form below and let us know how you would like to participate in this year’s festival. Your business and event will be added on the new Schedule of Events on Visit Lake City’s website, as well as other advertisements as we work together to promote economic development in our town.

Hometown Holidays marketing includes advertisements for holiday-themed EVENTS, not sales. We hope and encourage you to promote your own sales! As a collective, the more holiday-themed events we showcase, the more enticing Lake City becomes to VISIT and SHOP!

Window Decorating Contest

We are bringing back our Holiday Window Decorating Contest! All windows must be completed and ready to be judged on Friday, December 6. Winner will be announced on Sunday, December 8. Feel free to do whatever you would like, but our overall theme will be snow & ice (think whites and blues).

When judging, please note that we take into consideration the businesses that have painted windows vs. more of a hardscape approach. Only ONE painted window winner will be choosen.

Prize Money:
First Place: $250.00 | Second Place: $100.00 | Third Place: $50.00

Wine Stroll

We will also be having a WINE STROLL to entice sales on Saturday, December 7.

Wine (3 bottles) and cups will be provided. We would suggest getting a few additional bottles yourself. If you would prefer to serve sparkling grape juice, etc., feel free.
