We are seeking 20 middle and high school teachers to advise Street Law in ensuring our curricular materials and teacher professional development offerings are precisely what teachers and their students need. This year we are piloting new materials to support the interactive timelines on our Legaltimelines.org website. We are focusing our efforts on creating and adapting materials to make the timelines more accessible to special education and middle school students. Therefore, we are especially encouraging teachers who teach special education and middle school students to apply. Please complete the application below to be considered for the Teacher Amicus Group.

This group will pilot materials for our teacher resource page at Legaltimelines.Org. This year, we are focusing our efforts on creating and adapting materials to make the timelines more accessible to special education and middle school students. Please elaborate on any experience you have with these two groups of students.
One of the requirements of the project is that you attend a 2-hour virtual live PD on Thursday, January 16, 2025 from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm Eastern Time. Please indicate if you are able to attend.
If you are accepted, you will also be required to attend regular meetings on the first Thursday of selected months. Check all meetings you will be able to attend.
