The AROSE Scholars Program provides renewable scholarships and support services to Black and Brown high school graduates from Illinois and Michigan beginning their post-secondary journeys.
Eligibility Criteria:
- African American, Latino/Hispanic, Pacific Islander, or American Indian
- U.S. citizen or U.S. permanent resident
- Graduating high school senior
- Proof of enrollment to attend an accredited college or university, training program (barber college, cosmetology school, etc.), or other post-secondary programs during Fall 2025
- Primary resident of Illinois or Michigan
- Minimum 2.75 GPA as of the end of the prior semester
- Have overcome a traumatic life experience. Trauma is a distressing event that can show up in many different forms (ie. loss, grief, acts of violence, unstable environment, accidents, abuse, mental/physical health challenges, natural disasters, etc.)

May 2025: Scholar Recognition (Attendance Required for Recipients)
