  • The Primera Strong Scholarship has been established to honor and continue the legacy of our past Board Chairman, Michael Kropp whom we lost in December of 2021.  His commitment to Primera and our industry will live on as we award the 4th year of the Primera Strong Scholarship in July of 2025. 

    The Primera Strong Scholarship is open to full-time employees of Primera Members (Distributor or Supplier) attending an accredited college.

    • Primera Member Supplier employee’s child
    • Primera Member Supplier employee’s grandchild

    Winners will be expected to attend Primera's Annual Conference in Tucson, Arizona on July 29th and 30th to accept the scholarship and address the Primera Membership.  All winners will be notified on or before May 30th, 2025.

    The Primera Strong Scholarship is awarded a one-time payment of $2,500, with the selection committee's discretion to increase as it sees fit.  This is the 4th year that we will award the Primera Strong Scholarship, which includes:

    • A check for $2,500 paid directly to the school/university
    • Being featured on Primera's website and social media outlets as a Scholarship Winner
    • Receiving travel and hotel expenses to Primera's Annual Meeting '25 in Tucson, Arizona July 29th. 

    To be considered for the scholarship, the student must:

    • Be enrolled in a two-year or four-year accredited university during 2025-2026
    • Be working on an associate or undergraduate degree
    • Be the child/grandchild of a Primera Member Distributor or Member Supplier

    To apply for the Primera Strong Scholarship, the student needs to:

    • Write a cover letter requesting consideration for the scholarship and state what university he/she plans on attending
    • Secure a letter of recommendation from the applicant's academic advisor; teacher, or employer and
    • Complete the Primera Strong Scholarship Application Below:

    All application materials (cover letter, letter(s) of recommendation, other materials you'd like to submit) should be attached to your online application. 

    The deadline to apply is April 18th, 2025. 

  • If selected, you will be asked for documentation to support the data you provide. Likewise, all correspondence and award agreements will be generated from the personal information submitted below. So, please use proper spelling, capitalization and punctuation.
