  • Please note: A separate request form must be completed for each course if you are seeking different modifications across multiple enrolments.

  • As a traineeship student, you do not need to complete this form. Please email your study modification request to traineeships@globaltraining.edu.au.

    • Extension of completion date 
    • An extension allows you extra time to complete your studies, giving you the flexibility to move forward at your own pace. This is a great choice if you’d like to keep progressing but need a bit more time.

    • Deferral of study 
    • With a deferral, you can pause your studies temporarily and resume in the future. This option is ideal if you need a break but plan to continue when the time is right.

    • Withdrawal from course 
    • If continuing your studies no longer aligns with your goals or current priorities, you may choose to withdraw. Should you decide to return in the future, we’d be happy to discuss options for re-enrolment.

    • Conditions for Withdrawal from Course

      Your enrolment will be cancelled immediately from the date specified on this form. You must pay any fees that were due before your withdrawal date. We will provide you with a Statement of Attainment for any successfully completed units, pending up to date payment of fees.

      Should you wish to return to your studies later, you will need to provide us with written permission for re-enrolment into part or all of your course.

      Before finalising your withdrawal, a GTI representative will contact you to discuss your situation. If you're considering withdrawal and have any questions, we encourage you to contact our Customer Service Team for personalised support and advice.

      VET Student Loan Students: When you submit this withdrawal form, you will no longer incur VET Student Loans debt for future VET units of study. However, you will remain responsible for any VET Student Loans debt from units where the census date has already passed. Please contact us to confirm your current FEE-HELP Loan amount.

      If you withdraw from a unit of study before its census date, in accordance with Global Training Institute's withdrawal policy, you won't incur a VET Student Loan debt and may receive a refund for any upfront payments. Global Training Institute ensures there are no financial, administrative or other barriers that would prevent you from withdrawing on or before a census date.

  • Terms and Conditions for Withdrawal

    In withdrawing from this Course I acknowledge that:

    • I have paid all my required Student Fees as per Enrolment Conditions
    • Immediate cancellation of my course from the date listed.
    • Fees due before now need to be paid. VSL students accessing a VET Student Loan, You will be liable for tuition fees for all units in your course for which the census date has passed, contact us for your current FEE-HELP Loan amount.
    • I understand that I will receive a Statement of Attainment and Results for any units that have been assessed as Competent as of the date on this form, pending up to date payment of fees
    • I may be contacted in the future by Training or Funding Authorities in regards to my training
    • My contact details will stay in the Global Training Institute database for a period of 36 months from date of enrolment
    • I will no longer have access to the Online Members Area of the Global Training Institute website from the date on this form
    • Global Training Institute will retain a copy of all of my Assessments for Auditing purposes as required by legislation.
    • Should I wish to re-enrol, I will need to provide GTI with written permission to re enrol me into either part or all of my course.
    • I will be contacted by a GTI representative to discuss my situation before my withdrawal is activated
  • Terms and Conditions for Deferral

    1. A deferral allows you to pause your studies temporarily for a set period, as specified in the approval outcome.
    2. Deferral requests must be submitted in writing using the official form
    3. Approved deferrals may impact the overall course timeline. The revised completion date will be communicated in the approval outcome.
    4. Access to course materials will not be restricted during the deferral period.
    5. Students must notify GTI at least two weeks before the agreed return date to confirm their resumption of studies.
    6. When you return to study you must maintain a completion rate of at least one unit per month.
  • Terms and Conditions for Extension

    1. Students requiring additional time to complete their studies may apply for an extension.
    2. Extension requests must be submitted in writing no later than 21 days before the original course completion date.
    3. The approval of an extension request will depend on the student’s progress and engagement with the course to date.
    4. Extensions are granted for a defined period, with the expectation that students maintain active participation and meet the revised timelines.
    5. Students are responsible for managing their progress to ensure completion within the extended timeframe. This includes maitaining a completion rate of at least 1 unit per month.
  • General Conditions

    1. GTI will assess all applications individually and respond in writing within ten (10) working days.
    2. Extension or deferral approval is not guaranteed and is subject to the terms outlined above.
    3. Any modifications to the course may affect the student's study timeline and access to materials, as specified in the approval outcome.
