2025 Make48 Innovation Experience

Through a new partnership between EAST and Make48, teams of EAST students across Arkansas can compete in a real-world product development challenge this spring. Working in teams of three, students will design and prototype a new product that solves a real-world problem, with guidance from Make48’s innovation resources and support from local mentors.

If selected, you will support your student team as they advance to the Round of 32, where they will develop a proof-of-concept prototype and create a one-minute video pitch. Student teams will also participate in a series of webinars with EAST and Make48 staff during this round.

If your student team advances from the Round of 32, they will become finalists and pitch at the live event during EAST Conference 2025. As a facilitator, you are responsible for arranging all necessary logistics for your team’s attendance. EAST will provide complimentary general access passes to Conference for all finalist team members.
