    SPONSORSHIP FORM
  • Greetings,

On December 13, 2024, Mother Liberty Christian Methodist Episcopal Church will be observing the CME Church’s 154th Founders’ Day.  We have a rich history of being the first Christian Methodist Episcopal Church and as such we are affectionately known as the “Mother Church.” It has been our desire to follow in the pathway of the forty-one former enslaved Africans who formed this great Zion, and we continue to honor this rich heritage to this day.

I would like to invite you to be a part of this grand celebration by becoming an event sponsor of this momentous occasion.  It is our hope that you will join us in making this event one of the best.  Our Annual Founders’ and Honors Awards celebration will be held December 13, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. at the Kirkendoll Center on the campus of Lane College.

All proceeds beyond expenses will go to the Liberty Bell Children Defense Fund Freedom School. The Liberty Bell CDF Freedom School has been in existence since 2019. The program is six-week 5 days a week conducted in June and July of each year. The program has 30 1st to 5th graders and uses a proven curriculum made available by the Children’s Defense Fund Freedom Schools® that has served more than 137,000 children nationwide since 1990.

I have included information on available sponsorships.

I am asking you to join the Department of Christian and Formation and me personally by providing a $1000.00 sponsorship.  Every sponsorship of $400 or more includes one table with (8) seatings.

    In Christ,

    Rev. Carmichael Crutchfield, Ph.D., Pastor
