Zine submissions are due 5pm, Wednesday 11 December

Conditions of entry

Limit of one zine per person (unless participating in the zine swap and lucky dip, more information below)
You can submit any zine, made at any time
There are a few ways to deliver your zine (see details below)
Make sure you label your zine clearly with your full name
This form must be completed and submitted prior to delivering your zine to Contemporary Art Tasmania (CAT)
Zines must be delivered to CAT (27 Tasma Street, North Hobart) by the deadline — late submissions will not be accepted
You do not have to be a CAT member to submit
Zine collection will be arranged from CAT in February 2025 (including the option to return zines by post)
Please note zines on display in the gallery will be handled by visitors. We will do our best to ensure that your work isn't damaged however we cannot guarantee this.

1. Bring your zine to CAT

Drop-off your zine anytime during gallery opening hours (12pm–5pm, Wed–Sat) BEFORE 5pm, Wednesday 11 December.

If you would like to drop-off your zine outside of opening hours, you can leave it in the mailbox on the left side of the office door (closest door to the street). Please make sure your name is on the zine, and you've filled out this form before leaving it here.

2. Post your zine to CAT

You can post your zine to:

Please make sure you've filled out this form before posting and that the zine will arrive by the deadline. Zines delivered after the deadline will not be accepted.

3. Upload a scan and we'll print it at CAT

Scan your zine to a PDF, upload the file using this form, and we'll print it at CAT (for free). Please make sure the file is ready to be printed, as we will not make any changes to the file or printout (including page order, orientation etc.)

Limit of 10mb per file. If your file exceeds the limit, you can send it via email or WeTransfer to: nadia@contemporaryart.org.au
Please note we can't print larger than A4
