Background Check Requirements

To ensure the safety and well-being of the families and children we serve, all volunteer positions at ASM require a complete background check. By submitting this application, you acknowledge and agree to undergo a background check as part of the volunteer screening process. 

 

Note: You may be responsible for covering the cost of your background check. Information on completing and submitting your background check will be provided upon application review.

Agreement to Confidentiality and Child Protection Policies

At ASM, we are committed to maintaining the safety and privacy of the families and children we serve. As a volunteer, you are required to uphold strict confidentiality and adhere to our child protection policies. By signing below, you agree to the following:

* I will maintain the confidentiality of all information regarding the individuals and families served by ASM.

*I will not share, discuss, or disclose any personal information learned during my volunteer duties, except as required by law or as part of my duties with the organization. 

*I will adhere to the child protection policies set forth by ASM, including mandotory reporting of any suspected abuse or neglect. 

*I will participate in any required training related to confidentiality and child protection as needed

I acknowledge that failure to comply with these policies may result in the termination of my volunteer role and potential legal consequences.
