Exhibit Agreement and Waiver of Liability
In order to participate in the 2025 ACCT Artisan’s Exhibit, I understand and agree to the following policies and procedures.
Artwork is scheduled to be on display from Thursday, 1/23/25 to Saturday, 1/25/25 during the afternoon/evening Expo Hall and Reception hours (exact schedule TBD and subject to change).
Exhibits must be delivered during scheduled exhibit hall set-up and picked up either at the end of the last day of display or during scheduled exhibit hall tear-down, unless otherwise pre-arranged. I understand that items not collected by this time will be forfeited and become property of ACCT to dispose of, keep, sell, or donate at will. I may choose to donate my property to the Silent Auction.
I understand that I may choose to pick up my artwork from the exhibit area at the end of each evening, and return at the beginning of the next day’s session, or leave it in the exhibit area during closed hours. The Expo Hall and art exhibit area will be secured by venue staff during closed Expo Hall hours. During hours the Expo Halli is open but the art exhibit area is closed, the exhibit area will be cordoned off but not necessairly monitored.
I understand that I am responsible to deliver my property display-ready as relevant to the medium. This may include but not be limited to: protective casing, stand, framing, shatterproof glass, and/or hanging wire. A limited number of stands will be available for loan upon request on a first-come, first-served basis.
I understand that as a condition of participation I will be required to volunteer for at least one session of open exhibit hours for the purposes of monitoring the exhibit area.
Artists may choose whether or not to sell items, to be arranged directly between seller and buyer. Artists may choose to display contact information in the exhibit flier for interested parties to reach out about a purchase. Neither ACCT nor exhibit volunteers will assist with or otherwise be involved with selling of artwork, including but not limited to providing information about prices, negotiating, collecting money, or representing artists. No prices will be displayed on the provided information cards. Out of respect for ACCT's contract with the venue, any monetary exchanges must occur outside of the Expo Hall.
I acknowledge that my property, including, without limitation, any art or other items on display, may be damaged, lost, or stolen during the exhibition or during the unpacking, packing, or transportation of the items and I acknowledge and accept the risk involved by allowing such property to be displayed.
I understand that the venue will not insure any exhibits or displays and if I so choose I must acquire my own insurance. If I choose to not insure my property, I accept responsibility for any potential repair, replacement, or loss.
I hereby represent and warrant that I have read this Art Exhibits and Displays Waiver of Liability form in its entirety and fully understand its contents. I have signed the waiver voluntarily and of my own free will. By signing this waiver, I release and hold harmless ACCT, its Board of Trustees, employees, representatives and exhibit volunteers, from and against any and all claims of injury or damages relating to the above provisions.
