TEAMS Venture Application
Geographic Requirements
- Primary focus: Greater Teton region (Teton County WY/ID, Northern Lincoln County WY, Pinedale WY)
- Secondary consideration based on program capacity and fit: Wyoming/Idaho-based entrepreneurs without access to comparable local support
- If located outside Greater Teton region, must demonstrate commitment to TEAMS and Silicon Couloir (SC) programming
Business Requirements
- Demonstrates path towards scaling (hiring employees, launching a scalable product past the prototyping stage, raising money or generating revenue)
- For service-based businesses with growth limited by staff capacity and billable hours, applicant must clearly demonstrate path towards scalable product
- We do not accept single-person consultants without a plan to expand the team or business
- Idea-stage ventures not accepted and recommended to take Start-Up Success
- Eligible structures: For-profit, B-Corp, or nonprofit (10% program capacity reserved for nonprofits with potential for scalable impact. If TEAMS is at capacity, FCFS waiting list system implemented)
Industry Focus
- Tourism and real estate development businesses are not eligible
- Exceptions considered if applicant can demonstrate that they primarily serve the local community in other sectors
Values & Commitment
- Aligns with SC’s guiding principle of "Profit. People. Planet.”
- Active participation in SC ecosystem and events
- Must attend one Chance Meeting before acceptance
- Minimum 20 hours/week dedicated to venture
- Demonstrates coachability, accountability, and venture progress
Program Requirements
- First meeting is held in-person, no exceptions
- Monthly meeting cadence for first 3 months
- Maxiumum of monthly meeting cadence and minimum of quarterly meeting cadence after first three months
- Mandatory agenda submissions 7 days prior to meetings
- Mandatory post-meeting documentation
- Mandatory quarterly metrics reporting

I commit to the following TEAMS program expectations, if accepted:*

I will meet in-person for the first meeting. I will meet monthly the first 3 months, then at least quarterly thereafter. I will do my best to meet in person when my mentor team prefers so.I will submit an agenda to my team one week before scheduled meetings.I will submit Founder Notes following each meeting.I will do my best to accomplish any agreed upon homework prior to the following meeting.I will answer any outreach from mentors or SC staff in a timely manner of at least three business days.I will do my very best to attend 6 out of 12 Chance Meetings hosted by Silicon Couloir per year. Chance Meetings take place on the first Monday of the month. More information and schedule can be found on our website.I will complete Quarterly Reports, which are used by Silicon Couloir to aggregate venture growth and success.

This multiplied by my 2-4 mentors can quickly equate to an annual value of $21,600-$72,000.
