90 Day Haven Home Program
Program Overview
As of November 16, 2024 at said time :
I, _________________________ have enrolled into the 90 Day Haven Home Program. I acknowledged and understand that the end/ move out date to this program is February 14th 2025 unless the following isn’t completed and program terminated.
Our WHY: The Haven home program is designed to provide a safe and structured environment for healing and personal growth. Below are some of the key components and requirements for successfully graduating from the program:
1. Educational Advancement:
Obtaining your GED will be one of the major milestones during your stay. We will help provide resources, and support to ensure you are fully prepared for the exam.
2. Self-Sufficiency:
A crucial part of this program is learning how to manage daily responsibilities. You will be required to purchase and prepare your own food during your stay. This will equip you with the skills needed to manage household tasks effectively and foster independence.
3. Life Skills Development:
Throughout the program, you will attend workshops and classes aimed at enhancing your life skills, including financial literacy (keeping track of a monthly budget) job readiness, and emotional well-being. We will go over this more when you check in on the first.
4. Community Building & Accountability:
You you are expected to participate in community activities designed to foster a supportive environment. Group meetings, peer mentorship, and individual check-ins will help you stay on track with your personal goals.
5. Personal Growth & Healing:
You will be encouraged to work through any emotional and psychological barriers during the program. Regular counseling sessions will be provided to aid in your healing journey.
6. Overnight Guests/Guests
- No guests are allowed at the home unless part of CC’s Angels Team or volunteers. (This is to ensure the safety of the tenants.)
- No overnight guests are allowed (The home can only have 5 residents at a time)
- Residents and the residential care coordinator must follow this rule to maintain safety.
7. Drug/Alcohol-Free Environment:
- The house is a strict drug and alcohol-free zone. The residential care coordinator must enforce this rule and will report violations immediately and will give monthly urine drug tests to the residence.
8. Emergency Procedures:
- Be familiar with and execute emergency protocols, including contacting emergency services if needed.
- Conduct fire safety checks and ensure that all smoke detectors and fire extinguishers are operational.
- You must sign a nondisclosure agreement and must agree to not disclose the residential address of the safe haven home to anyone outside of the CC’s Angels organization.
Responsibility/ Care of Children:
I understand that it is my responsibility to make sure that my children are properly enrolled in the right school. I understand that my children will be in my care during this program and stay. I understand that I am to use public transportation/ local bus routes for commuting around the area and getting the kids to and from school. I understand that it is my responsibility to find proper daycare and assistance, for my child that is not school-age. I understand that it is my responsibility to feed my children and cook their meals. I understand that is my responsibility to get my children ready for school.
- Curfew:
• A curfew of 11:00 p.m. is in place from Sunday to Thursday, and 12:00 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays unless pre-approved for work or other valid reasons.
- Quiet Hours:
• Quiet hours are observed from 9:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. daily to respect the privacy and rest of all residents.
-Common Areas:
• Tenants are responsible for keeping common areas clean and clutter-free. Any personal items left in shared spaces will be removed.
- Conflict Resolution:
• Disputes among tenants must be addressed respectfully. If a resolution cannot be reached, the residential care coordinator will intervene to mediate. If conflict between residential care coordinator and tenant. Program Director CeCe Spencer and/or Advocate, Deana Alvarado or house mom Erica Wiggins will step in for additional help.
- No Smoking:
• Smoking is not permitted inside the house. Smoking is only allowed in designated outdoor areas.
-Property Damage:
• Tenants must report any damages to the property immediately. Willful damage may result in financial penalties or removal from the program.
-Compliance with residential care coordinator.
• Tenants must comply with any reasonable requests or instructions from the residential care coordinator regarding the operation of the home.
Consequences for Non-Compliance:
1. Warnings:
- For minor infractions of house rules, tenants will receive verbal or written warnings from the residential care coordinator.
2. Probation:
- Repeated violations may result in probationary status, where a tenant’s ability to remain in the program is evaluated.
3. Removal from Program:
- Serious or continuous infractions, such as violence, drug use, or repeated disrespect of rules, will lead to immediate removal from the program.
Please remember in order to stay in the home you must follow the program. The 90 day Haven Home program must be completed on the same dates and times as listened above. Move-in date is November 16, 2024. Move out date is February 14, 2025.
Program Termination:
This agreement may be terminated at any time if the tenant is found to violate the rules, responsibilities and expectations outlined in this agreement If their conduct is deemed detrimental to the safety and well-being of the residents or using organizations funds for personal gain.
