Description of Workshop:

Come learn a very practical approach to saddle fitting for both English and Western saddles. We know a healthy back is imperative for our horses, but buying a fully custom saddle is not always within budget. We’ll take a look as a group and get a chance to feel- hands on- proper and poorly fitting saddles and brainstorm about what might be a realistic approach for you and your horses at home.

HORSES FOR DEMONSTRATION ARE PROVIDED, NO HAUL-INS PLEASE.

What You Can Expect:

Hands-on experience troubleshooting a variety of saddles to horses of different shapes and sizes.
Multiple horse/facilitator teams available for clarity and questions.
Leave the session feeling confident in your ability to feel what properly fitting tack should be!

Facilitators:

Shelby Schult and Cassidy Godden have many years of experience in saddle fitting, both personally and professionally. They complete over 1,900 saddle fits per year and have proven results in comfort and performance in horses—all while keeping functionality and budget in mind.

The HETRA Tack Shack will be open before and after the event. Shop for new and gently used tack, equine equipment and clothing while you are here!
