The Citizens' Voice is delighted to help you share the joyous news of your wedding with our community. To ensure your announcement is published with the care and attention it deserves, we provide the following guidelines:
Submission Requirements:
- Photographs: For your engagement announcement, please submit high-resolution studio-quality portraits in JPEG format. The ideal file size is between 3MB and 12MB, with a minimum height or width of 3000 pixels. Please ensure the photograph is original and does not infringe on any copyrights or trademarks.
- Announcement Details: Accurate and complete information is essential for a timely and accurate publication. Please ensure all fields on the submission form are filled out correctly. Kindly adhere to the information requested on our standard wedding forms. This includes the time and place of the ceremony, full names and city and state of residence for the couple and their parents, and the officiant's full name. Please note that we do not include details about decorations, music, attire, or ceremonial traditions.
- Residency: To qualify for publication, the bride, groom, or a parent of either must reside within our coverage area. We also make special considerations for former residents, those with local grandparents, and couples who marry in the area but reside elsewhere.
- Verification: For verification and clarification purposes, include a daytime telephone number where one of the celebrants can be reached.
- Deadline: To guarantee publication, please submit your announcement at least 14 business days prior to the desired Sunday publication date.
Important Note: Submission fees cover photo processing and do not influence editorial content or placement.
